Oscar is always one of the most anticipated events of the year by celebrities, fans and stylists. It is there that celebrities prove the outcome of a good job, fans celebrate and designers show their creations to the world.
Everyone looks at the best dressed, but I usually like to analyze which stylist dressed who and if there is any tendency. I really like to see which brands are on the red carpet or not, that defines the personality of the celebrity.
Giambattista Valli dressed two celebrities and both were wearing flowing dresses with light fabrics.
Emma Stone and Sandra Bullock wear Louis Vuitton, each with its own personality.
Armani Prive wore three renowned actresses in three totally different creations. I loved the originality of each dress, but my favorite was Allison Williams.
Atelier Versace also wore three actresses, and my favorite was Lupita Nyong’s.
Dior was the favorite of the red carpet, where four celebs opted for the brand. It was difficult to choose the best dressed, I’m between Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lawrence.
Calvin Klein was also an Oscar success with two “less is more” outfits.
Other stylists who also appeared in the red carpet:
And can you repeat look on the Oscar red carpet? Obviously yes! Two empowered women have done it this year! Faye Dunaway dressed Esteban in 2017 and in 2018. And Rita Moreno wears Jose Moreno in 1962 and in 2018.
The trend of the 2018 Oscar was: Dress fluid with lightweight fabrics. This should become category and award. There are lots of fluid models here for you to copy and rip into the weddings and graduations of life.
And the color of the Oscar 2018 was: White. A flood of white dresses and suits this year from different designers and each respecting the celebrity style.
