Presentations are so important as the parades that roll during New York Fashion Week. And there’s a lot of fashionistas who wrinkles, but I confess I love it.
It is a unique opportunity to see the piece more calmly and photograph every detail, since in the parade are those 15 super fast catwalk minutes.
Not to mention that the presentation will usually be the stylist and ambassador of the brand, you will meet many influential people in the world of fashion sprinkled with good drinks! Impossible not to love!
Banana Republic always brings the ambassador Olivia Gorgeous Palermo, she should include the Gorgeous in her name because she is always stunning! In addition to signing some pieces of the collection, Olivia did a fashion curatorial and helped the fashionistas to buy at the Banana Republic store during the presentation. I found a great strategy, because people really bought the clothes. And if the focus is the sale, they actually sold that day.
Kate Spade brought a spring / summer 18 with dark tones and floral with black background. The collection is always chic with impeccable finish. I confess I expected something more colorful and cheerful, but it still did not disappoint. The ruffles and pieces with volume, one of Kate Spade’s characteristics remained in the collection.
Alice + Olivia presented a more colorful and super young collection, but kept the monochromatic looks, which are the famous matching color or pattern. In particular, I find a luxury and super easy to compose the look.
DVF has evolved completely! It was an incredible presentation in a collection with references in the 70’s, but with fabrics evolved from the 2000s!
